郑吉常是20世纪30年代上海拳击界的知名人物，被《文汇报》《新民晚报》等报纸誉为“亚洲毒蛇”。本次访谈中，笔者选取3位与郑吉常生前密切关联的后生晚辈的口述，探寻郑吉常的身世背景、没有出征1936年柏林奥运会的原因、与英国拳手琼斯比赛的始末、郑吉常的拳击风格和训练方式以及郑吉常鲜有人知的晚年生活5个方面内容。本文以人物口述为主，为历史真相提供一种新的解读视角。

英文摘要:

Zheng Jichang was a well-known person of the boxing world in Shanghai in 1930s. He was awarded the title of "Asian Snake"by the newspapers of Wenhui Daily and Xinmin Evening News. The paper, based on the oral account of three younger persons who had close relations with Zheng Jichang when he was alive, tries to explore the background of Zheng jichang, the reason why he did not compete in Berlin Olympics in 1936, the details of his fight against Jones, a British Boxer, his boxing style and training methods as well as his later life, which few people knows.
