| Taekwondo, as one of the official competitive sports in Olympic Games, has a dazzling development with its academic research increasing at the same time. Among them, the study of Korean Taekwondo history has become the focus of the academic community of sports. In order to further improve the Korean Taekwondo history research, this paper analyzes the research paradigms and methodology features of Taekwondo history in Korea by using literature review, logic analysis and face-to-face interviews, based on which suggestions for the research methods of Taekwondo has been put forward. The study concluded that the research methods of Taekwondo history in Korea has been one-sided and unreasonable. The historical study of Taekwondo in Korea can be divided into two aspects: the formation process and the development process of Taekwondo. The research on the formation process of Taekwondo can be done by analyzing the first generation of Taekwondo practitioners and the initial technical system through using the textual research, historical comparison and oral history method. The research on the development process of Taekwondo can be done by analyzing the competitive development path and overseas communication of Taekwondo through historical comparison method, statistical method, Marxist research method, etc. |
