The 14th International Symposium on Computer Science in Sport was successfully held in College of Education, Zhejiang University from September 27 to 30, 2023. Nearly a hundred experts, scholars, and students from 35 universities and research institutions in Germany, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ireland, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and China brought together to explore interdisciplinary research in sports science and computer science. The conference featured 67 selected papers, 5 keynote presentations, and 2 workshops encompassing various cross-disciplinary areas in sports science, computer science, and related fields. These areas included machine learning, computer vision, data mining, pattern recognition, databases, big data, modeling and prediction, sensors, and the analysis of game data and sports performance such as ball games, athletics, taekwondo, archery, and more. These research endeavors have provided fresh insights and solutions to the field of sports science, demonstrating the importance and potential for interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary collaborative research. |
