古巴是5个社会主义国家之一，古巴体育在世界体坛上占有重要地位，尤其是拳击、棒球、排球等项目居全球领先。古巴是社会主义国家中第一个在宪法上明确规定公民体育权利的国家，古巴体育的发展既得益于国家制度、地理优势等因素，也与该国宪法对体育的特殊保障不可分割。现行古巴宪法有8个条文明确规定了体育内容。在全球各国宪法中古巴宪法是对体育规定最为详细、保障最为有力的。

英文摘要:

Cuba is one of the five socialist countries. Sports in Cuba occupy an important position in the world, especially boxing, baseball and volleyball. Cuba is the first socialist country that defines clearly its citizens’ sport rights in the constitution. The development of sports in Cuba benefits not only from the national institutions and geographical advantages, but also the special protection of its constitution toward sports. There are eight provisions focusing on sports in the present Cuban Constitution. Of all the constitutions around the world, the Cuban Constitution is the one which has the most detailed rules on sports and offers powerful protection to sports.
