The author interviewed Nicky Spinks, a British cross-country runner. Based on Nicky's personal experience and the status quo of the development of cross-country running, the paper discusses the characteristics of the cross-country running in UK and analyzes the cross-country races in UK and other countries in order to provide reference for the cross-country running in China.
