Based on the Principle of Low Starting Point and Focusing on Penetration and by the methods of questionnaire, observation and statistics, the author tried to use bilingual PE teaching in the first grade of elementary school according to the characteristics of the pupils and their level of English. Starting from the words of PE command, the author gradually added English proverbs, songs, nursery rhymes and games into PE teaching. While giving priority to accomplishing the target of the curriculum and supplementing the teaching with PE English knowledge, the author tries to integrate PE knowledge with English so that the ambience of bilingual PE teaching can be created in the school campus. |
