Track and field, as the most popular sport in the world, include the competitions of speed, height, distance and endurance. The events of the sport are usually divided into sprint, middle-distance race, long-distance race, throwing, jumping, all-round events, etc. Significant differences exist in energy supply of the different events of the sport. The supply of three major nutrients and the application of supplements differ greatly.
