Summing up the experience of creating an ideal sports culture environment by world cultural metropolis, the article discusses the strategic orientation of the sports culture in Shanghai and the target of environment construction. It assesses the status quo of the sports culture environment in Shanghai and puts forward some suggestions on creating and perfecting Shanghai's sports culture environment.
