| Sport in China is at a new historical starting point due to the tremendous success of the Beijing Olympic Games. Facing the reality of the fast development of sports technique in the world, we should further change ideas, speed up innovation of training and management, push forward the transformation of competitive sports development in China from the extensive management style based on material elements to intensive innovation style based on technical elements, realize the transformation of the development ways of the competitive sports in China and improve the quality and efficiency of the preparations for the Olympic Games. Innovation needs independent personality charm, enthusiasm for learning, curiosity and a lofty scientific spirit. Innovation is unique cognitive competence and practice competence of human being.
