通过对5所上海市民办高校中体育教学现状进行分析调查，探讨我国民办高校体育教学普遍存在的现实状况，探索并发现我国民办高校体育教学的发展趋势和前进方向，找出制约民办高校体育教学建设的重要因素，提高上海市民办高校体育教学的科学性和有效性。

Based on the survey of the PE teaching status in 5 Shanghai private colleges, the article tries to find out the reality of PE teaching in China's private colleges, discusses its developing trend and orientation and discovers the main factors restricting PE teaching construction in private colleges so as to improve the scientificity and effectiveness of PE teaching in Shanghai private colleges.
