以竞技体育为形式的古代奥运会独具了人文气息和教育理念，促进奥运会复兴与传承。竞技体育的永恒价值是教育、文化、精神、引领大众体育和转换社会风险，由此促进人类社会的发展。因而，竞技体育在建设社会主义核心价值体系中，有着独特的作用。通过探究竞技体育的自身特点和见证人类历史、文化的发展过程，及竞技体育在世界历史发展中的独特作用，从发展和完善中国竞技体育的文化层面着手，探析中国竞技体育在建设我国社会主义核心价值体系中存在的问题，让竞技体育独特作用伴随着中国建设强大祖国的核心目标，从形式、内容到思想体系上合着中国前进的脚步，推动中国社会的发展。

英文摘要:

The ancient Olympic Games, in the form of competitive sports, possessed uniquely humane flavor and educational concept, which has promoted the revival and heritage of the Olympic Games. The eternal value of competitive sports is education, culture, spirit, guiding mass sports and transferring social risk so as to enhance the development of human society. Therefore competitive sports play a unique role in constructing a socialist core value system.Based on developing and perfecting the culture of China's competitive sports, the article analyzes the existing problems of China's competitive sports in constructing a socialist core value system in China by reviewing the characteristics of competitive sports, the development of human history and culture and the unique role of competitive sports in world history. With its fundamental target of forging ahead with the construction of a powerful China, the development of competitive sports should keep in step with the development of China in form, content and ideology so as to help push the development of Chinese society.
