Adopting the methods of literature study and expert interview, the article discusses the on-the-job training system and mechanism of the competitive basketball coaches in China. The result shows that the training system is imperfect and the training target is not clear. The demand for training is insufficient and the teachers and curriculum for training are irrational. Lack of fund restricts the development of the training. The article puts forward the suggestions of enhancing the management of the training, perfecting on-the-job training system, improving the quality of the coaches, stressing the relations between quality, knowledge and ability, paying attention to cultivating reserved talents of the teachers for training, speeding up the construction of on-the-job training courses, introducing social capital to the training and ensuring enough fund for training. |
