| Based on literature study, the paper focuses on two aspects. One is the ritual significance of sports, which includes the ritual in the eyes of anthropology and the symbolism of sport ritual such as gameness, competition spirit, integrity and so on. The second is the social functions of sports, which include social integrity, national identity, national pride, etc. |
