| The indicators of a sports power include not only the gold medals of the Olympics, but also the participation in the Olympic Games, the contribution to the Olympics and developing sports for the development of its society. From the competitive sports development in the US, Germany and Switzerland, the paper reveals that the road to a sports power for China is to develop mass sports with the development of competitive sports, to ensure the healthy growth of the youngsters and to make contributions toward the development of world sports. |
