| Generally, sailing boat is pushed forward by the wind, which generates power on the sail while sailing. Wind is the most important condition for sailing. In this paper, experimental research method is applied to explore the local wind characteristics of the sailing competition area of 2012 London Olympic Games. The research results strongly helped Xu Lijia use the wind efficiently and choose the correct course. |
