| With the methods of video analysis, document study and expert interview, the paper discusses the evolution of the Wushu program at the CCTV spring festival gala. The program can be divided into three stages: the initial exploratory stage, the pioneering and developing stage and the mature stage. The paper analyzes the status quo and characteristics of the Wushu program at the spring festival gala. Based on some existing problems, it puts forward the concept of accurate positioning, highlighting its own characteristics, encouraging new performance groups, improving metabolism ability and insisting on the idea of “content is king” as well as the development way of further expanding Wushu culture. |
