| This paperuses the historical document method, whichis mainly based on the poems of Ming Dynasty and supplemented by History of Ming Dynasty and the unofficial stories of Ming Dynasty. It focuses on the different-status palace ladies’ daily leisure activities during the Tianqi Era.The game of the maidswas a part of the female sports games at that time. Some new materials have been found amid the great amount of documents. This may fill the gaps in the history of female sports. |
