As a low-cost, low-risk, simple, effective, and easy-to-implement physical activity, walking has significant benefits for promoting health and preventing diseases. From the perspective of guidelines for expanding physical activity by promoting walking activities that are easy to understand and follow, this article systematically summarizes the research progress on the dose-response relationship between walking activity and health outcomes such as all-cause mortality, incidence & mortality of cardiovascular diseases, and provides scientific basis for evidence-based walking goals and public health strategies. |
